What obligations are imposed by the new regulations?
Pursuant to the provisions of the Polish act and the EU directive on the protection of persons reporting on breaches of Union law, employers will have to:
- implement safe reporting methods
- introduce an internal reporting procedure
- systematically respond to the whistleblowers
- verify and follow up on reports
- ensure the safety of the reporting person and take care of the confidentiality of data
- keep a register of reports
